전북자치도 부안지역 5개 해수욕장이 오는 7월 4일부터 8월 17일까지 총 45일 동안 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지 개장한다.

 

부안군은 최근 군청 대회의실에서 해수욕장협의회를 개최하고 개장기간과 안전관리 등 해수욕장 주요 운영․관리 사항을 심의ㆍ확정했다고 27일 밝혔다.

 

권익현 부안군수가 주재한 이번 협의회는 부안경찰서ㆍ부안해양경찰서ㆍ부안소방서ㆍ군산지방해양수산청ㆍ전주기상지청ㆍ부안교육지원청ㆍ변산반도국립공원사무소ㆍ한국해양구조협회 부안구조대ㆍ해병대 부안전우회ㆍ변산면 모항마을 등 관계기관 및 단체들이 참석해 해수욕장 개장과 운영ㆍ관리에 필요한 사항들을 논의하는 방식으로 개최됐다.

 

특히 폐장 이후 이용객 수요가 많은 점을 고려해 8월 31일까지 안전관리 상태 유지 및 각종 편의시설 개방을 결정했다.

 

변산해수욕장은 관광객들이 많이 찾는 성수기 기간인 오는 7월 19일부터 8월 3일까지 16일간 오후 8시까지 야간 개장한다.
