전북 정읍에서 4,882마리의 돼지를 사육하고 있는 양돈농장에서 아프리카돼지열병(ASF)이 발생해 방역 당국이 살처분과 이동중지 등 긴급 방역 조치에 나섰다.

 

이번 발생은 지난 1일 고창군 소재 양돈농장 발생에 이어 도내 두 번째 사례다.

 

13일 정읍시에 따르면 관내 한 양돈농장에서 폐사가 잇따르고 있다는 신고가 접수돼 정밀검사를 실시한 결과, 지난 12일 아프리카돼지열병 양성으로 최종 확진됐다.

 

재난안전대책본부는 확진 즉시 긴급행동지침(SOP)에 따라, 해당 농장에 대한 초동방역팀과 역학조사반을 급파해 외부인ㆍ가축ㆍ차량의 출입을 전면 통제한 상태로 살처분(가축 처분)을 실시하고 있다.

 

특히 발생 지역의 오염원 제거와 추가 확산 방지를 위해 발생 농장 반경 10km 이내를 방역지역으로 설정해 가용 가능한 모든 소독 자원을 총동원, 정밀검사와 집중소독 등 확산 차단 조치가 이뤄지고 있다.
