정월대보름을 맞아 오는 3월 2일 정읍 천변 어린이축구장 일원에서 전통 세시풍속을 체험할 수 있는 체험 행사가 운영된다.

 

전북 정읍시는 사라져가는 세시풍속을 계승하고 시민의 안녕을 기원하기 위해 문화원이 2026 달맞이 문화제 '정읍, 말 달리자'를 개최한다고 19일 밝혔다.

 

이번 문화제는 정월대보름의 전통을 잇고 시민이 함께 어우러지는 참여형 전통문화 축제로 기획됐다.

 

'정읍, 말 달리자' 행사는 전통놀이 전국대회를 비롯 안녕기원제ㆍ달집태우기 등 남녀노소 누구나 즐길 수 있는 다양한 프로그램으로 채워진다.

 

전통놀이 전국대회는 3월 2일 오후 2시부터 5시까지 행사장 내 전용 경기장에서 제기차기ㆍ윷놀이ㆍ투호 등 3개 종목으로 나눠 진행된다.

 

윷놀이는 팀 대항전으로 치러지고 제기차기와 투호는 개인전으로 승부를 가린다.
